What does your availability look like?
We have openings as soon as next week! If you sign up today, we will get you onboarded by Tuesday of next week so that you can start gathering your dreamy inspo and info. From there, you will get access to our booking link to pick out whatever day works best for you! We still have plenty of days free in December if you want to complete your design before the new year.
Can I purchase now and save it for later?
Sure! If you would like to purchase your Design package now to lock in this groovy deal, but save the design time for later, that won’t be a problem at all. I’ll let you lead on this dance, and I’ll go at your pace!
Will I need to be available on my Design Day?
Yes, you will need to be available for your Design Day. You won’t need to be sitting on your computer all day long, but you’ll want to make sure you have your phone nearby to respond quickly if any questions or feedback requests arise. For One Day Websites, you will need to plan on being free from around 3-5pm CST. This is when we will do the website reveal and work through any revisions. For your Brand Design Day, we will do a quick check-in around 8:30, 10:30, 12:30, and 3:30 CST to make sure you are liking everything as we go.
Are there any additional costs?
There MAY be additional costs associated with your design depending on what you already have. For your website, you will need a domain (~ $12/yr) and hosting (~ $3/month- You will probably pay for your first 1 to 3 years up front). If you are needing a Shopify website, you will need to purchase a premium theme. These are usually around $350. (I’ll help with this.) For branding, you may need to buy a font license for your updated brand fonts (Usually under $15/font).
What platforms do you use to build websites?
We build all websites in either WordPress or Shopify. For service-based businesses, we design your website in WordPress (self-hosted), because we have found it allows for the greatest amount of creative freedom, functionality, and SEO Performance for YOU. For e-commerce businesses, we design your site in Shopify, because it has a ton of built-in tools and features to drive sales and make your life as a business owner easier.
Can you build me a Shopify Website?
We sure can! We love working with e-commerce brands to grow their online presence. Additional costs to consider with Shopify is that we will need a premium theme (~$350) and you will also need a paid Shopify account (~$30/mo).
What is “Voxer” Support?
Voxer is a cool walkie-talkie-type app that we will use for communication on your Design Day. It allows for quick communication back-and-forth so we don’t miss a beat!
Do I need to have a Brand Design before I do my website?
Yes. The One Day Website Service is an accelerated process. Because of this, we will need a firm foundation before we begin. Before you are able to book a One Day Website Experience, you will need to have a logo, color palette, and type suite for your brand. If you do not yet have this, no worries. We will just need to design your brand prior to your One Day Website Experience. We can do this either through a VIP Day for your brand, OR our mini brand package ($500), which you can find on the One Day Website Proposal.
Do you write the copy for my website?
No. I am not a copywriter and do not have this service available. We do, however, provide you with a Website Copywriting guide to give you an outline and guidance so you are able to DIY your website content. (It even has ChatGPT prompts inside to help you write like a pro!) If you would like to hire a copywriter to help you, I have plenty of copywriting friends to recommend!
