Your welcome email is on its way right now. It has the link to set up your course account, which is where everything lives. Module 1 unlocks on Monday, August 31; so use these next few steps to get set up before we begin.
Add all seven live calls now so nothing sneaks onto your schedule first. The designers who show up live get the biggest breakthroughs. Fridays, Sep 4 – Oct 16, 11AM
Meet the other designers going through this with you. This is where we post announcements, celebrate wins, answer questions, and cheer each other on all the way through.
Fill out the Designer Connection survey and we’ll match you with a small accountability group at a similar stage. Swap wins, ask the awkward questions, keep each other moving.
If your welcome email hasn’t shown up in a few minutes, check spam and promotions first. Still nothing? Email support and we’ll get you sorted!
Get clear on exactly what you’re delivering, price it with confidence using a simple pricing framework, and position it so dream clients say yes without hesitation. You’ll also set up your automated proposal, contract, and invoice system so booking feels seamless from the very first inquiry.
Build the onboarding experience that gets clients excited and prepped before their Design Day even starts. Your welcome email, project hub, onboarding video, and prep call booking, all running on autopilot before you ever open your design software.
The final steps that make your Design Days flow like clockwork. You’ll learn how to host a strategic, 30-minute prep call, gather good design inspiration, prep your build platform, and run your final checks so you walk into your first Design Day calm, clear, and ready to deliver.
This is the Design Day itself. You’ll learn exactly what to do at every point of the day to make sure you are styling on schedule and delivering great work to your client by the end of the day. I’ll walk you through planning the perfect start, the order in which to build the site, time-saving tricks to optimize every second of the day, how to reveal the site to your clients, how to flow through the revision period, and finally how to close-out the project at the end of the day with clear boundaries, including the exact scripts for each moment.
Learn an off-boarding system that turns a one-day project into a long-term relationship. Get guidance on how to create a training video library, clear support-period boundaries, and simple systems that turn happy clients into repeat bookings and referrals for years to come.
Take your offer to market with a repeatable two-week launch plan including all of the prewritten emails and scripts you need to get your first couple of Design Day clients through the door, a sales process that feels natural instead of pushy, and a referral partner system that keeps new clients coming in consistently.
Take the time to celebrate what you’ve built, receive one final bonus guest training, and have the chance to apply for Design Day Certified status.
Here’s a fun fact about me: I’ve met with the same designer friend via Zoom almost every single week for the last six years. We talk through our businesses, we cheer each other on, and we hold each other accountable. I’ve learned that having an accountability partner, and friend, in business is what makes all the difference.
When you have someone growing alongside you, you’re able to hash out the challenges together and get to the end goal that much quicker.
So grab a friend who’s ready to improve their process too. You’ll have someone to swap wins with all week, and you’ll both walk away with a process you’re proud of.
P.S. Let’s be friends on Instagram! It’s where I share client projects and more of what I’m working on behind the scenes.→ @honeywavecreative
