Hey friend! I’m the Head Designer and Creative Director behind Honeywave Creative. I specialize in designing highly interactive and conversion-driven websites for ambitious entrepreneurs. When we work together, your business baby becomes mine and we’ll get it looking the part in as little time as possible- oftentimes just a single day! With my background in Marketing and Business Administration, I’ve learned what makes designs actually sell, and how we can tailor those designs to best speak to your target audience. Will I need to be available on my Design Day?
Yes, you will need to be available for your Design Day. You won’t need to be sitting on your computer all day long, but you’ll want to make sure you have your phone nearby to respond quickly if any questions or feedback requests arise. For One Day Websites, you will need to plan on being free from around 3-5pm CST. This is when we will do the website reveal and work through any revisions.
Does my website have to be in WordPress?
For the most part, yes. I design your website in WordPress (self-hosted), because I have found it allows for the greatest amount of creative freedom, functionality, and SEO Performance for YOU. The only exception: If you have an e-commerce website, we will be using a Shopify theme. This will be chosen prior to your VIP Day. If you choose a Premium Shopify theme (Usually $200-$300), you will be responsible for the theme cost.
Are there any additional costs?
Yes. You will need a domain, which is around $12-15/year and you will also need website hosting. I can help you get the website hosting set up for around $3/month. If your website is in Shopify, you will also need to purchase a Shopify theme, which typically range around $200-$300.
Do you offer payment plans?
We do! This is a big and exciting investment for your business. I want to make sure we make it as easy as possible for you to say “Yes!” and get started on your transformation. To help with this, we offer a 25% monthly payment plan on all packages.
What is a Trello Board?
Trello is the project management system we will be using to keep us both organized and on the same page. Upon confirming your One Day Website Experience, I will send you a Trello board to start completing. On this board, you will be able to see our project timeline and gain access to your Strategy Questions, Website Content Guide, Pre-Work, and WordPress Training Videos.
Do you offer any other website packages?
Yes! If you are wanting a larger, more intensive website design project, check out our Wavemaker Exclusive Package! It is a one-week collaborative process with unlimited revisions, more advanced features, and includes up to 12 pages and your brand design too.
How far in advance should I schedule my Design Day?
We typically recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance to allow you enough time to gather content for your new website design/brand design! Make sure to check with us if you have a tight deadline you are working towards. We will do what we can to get you squeezed in and ready to launch!
What is “Voxer” Support?
Voxer is a cool walkie-talkie-type app that we will use for communication on your Design Day. It allows for quick communication back-and-forth so we don’t miss a beat!
Do I need to have a Brand Design before I start?
Yes. The One Day Website Service is an accelerated process. Because of this, we will need a firm foundation before we begin. Before you are able to book a One Day Website Experience, you will need to have a logo, color palette, and type suite for your brand. If you do not yet have this, no worries. We will just need to design your brand prior to your One Day Website Experience. We can do this either through a VIP Day for your brand, or we can do a mini brand on the morning of your Design Day for an extra $500. (Available on the proposal linked above)
Do you write the copy for my website?
No. I am not a copywriter and do not have this service available. We do, however, provide you with a Website Content guide to give you an outline and guidance so you are able to DIY your website content. If you would like to hire a copywriter to help you, I have plenty of copywriting friends to recommend!
